7 Tips To Age Gracefully Past 100 Years

I am going to live past 100 years.
Today I'm going to explain how I plan to do this, and how you can too.
It's easy to feel invincible when you're young and full of life. But that is the time when you should be paying the most attention to your health. By making health a priority from a young age, you will learn to age gracefully.
By taking care of your health you will be rewarded with a longer and richer life.
You will be able to do the things you want to do without feeling like you have to limit yourself because you're getting "old". You will be able to spend more quality time with loved ones (without feeling like a burden). You will be able to get more enjoyment and fulfillment out of life.
"The longer I live, the more beautiful life becomes"

Unfortunately, most people completely disregard their health until they start having medical problems.
"Live Fast, Die Young"
Some people have a misconception that living a healthy life and having fun are mutually exclusive. As a result, they completely shit the bed with their health in an attempt to make the most of their youth.
Here are some things people do to ruin their lifespans and age prematurely:
Poor diet
Stress
Smoking
Alcohol & drugs
Lack of exercise
Lack of (quality) sleep
Lack of hobbies & interests
Luckily for you, these problems are easy to overcome with a bit of intention and consistency.
Here's how:
1) Diet
A balanced diet helps maintain a healthy weight and reduce the risk of heart disease, diabetes, and certain types of cancer. Eating a healthy diet is one of the best things you can do for your body and overall health.
Here are some simple & easy diet tips:
Limit processed foods
Eat whole foods
Avoid added sugar and sugary drinks
Stay hydrated
2) Stop smoking
Smoking is a leading cause of preventable death and illness.
It is responsible for a wide range of serious health problems, including heart disease, lung cancer, and chronic obstructive pulmonary disease.
Additionally, smoking can cause premature aging and increase the risk of other forms of cancer, such as bladder cancer and pancreatic cancer.
There are many reasons why smoking is bad for your health, and it is best to avoid it altogether.
3) Limit drugs and alcohol
Using drugs and alcohol can have a range of negative effects on your health and the way you age.
In the long term, drugs and alcohol can lead to addiction, liver damage, heart disease, and a range of other serious health problems. Additionally, using drugs and alcohol can have negative social and economic consequences, such as strained relationships and lost productivity.
For these reasons, it is best to avoid drugs and alcohol as much as possible.
4) De-stress
Chronic stress can have many negative effects on the body that can contribute to premature aging.
These include increased inflammation, which has been linked to a range of age-related diseases, such as heart disease, Alzheimer's disease, and certain types of cancer. Additionally, stress can cause the body to produce excess cortisol, a hormone that can have harmful effects on the body, including weight gain, high blood pressure, and impaired cognitive function.
Learning how to reduce stress is a whole topic in itself which also depends on the individual's situation.
But, some universal ways to de-stress include:
Meditation
Long walks
Journaling
Exercising
And most importantly - be intentional with the crap you allow into your life. Some people just allow bullshit into their lives without questioning it.
5) Sleep
Poor sleep has been proven to prematurely age the body.
Sleep is an important part of overall health and well-being, and getting enough quality sleep is essential for maintaining good health. Poor sleep can weaken the immune system, making the body more vulnerable to infections and diseases.
Here are some tips for better quality sleep:
View sunlight within 60 minutes of waking
Wake up at the same time each day
Avoid caffeine 10 hours before bedtime
Keep your bedroom cool at night
Avoid alcohol and weed

6) Exercise
Regular exercise can help slow the effects of aging and improve overall health.
It can help to reduce the risk of age-related diseases, such as heart disease, diabetes, and certain types of cancer. It can also help to maintain a healthy weight, improve cognitive function, and support mental health. Additionally, exercise can help to reduce the effects of stress and improve sleep, both of which can help to slow the aging process.
In short, exercise is a great tool to help support overall health and well-being as we age.
Personally, I plan to walk 10,000 steps each day for the rest of my life, while also maintaining a regular strength training routine.
7) Stay curious
Engaging in hobbies and activities that you enjoy can help to maintain cognitive function and improve mental health.
Hobbies and interests can provide a sense of purpose and fulfillment, and they can help to keep the mind active and engaged. Additionally, hobbies and interests provide social interaction with others. This is especially important for older people who may be more isolated.
In short, hobbies and interests can be beneficial for older people, as it is important for them to continue pursuing the things they enjoy.
I hope you enjoyed these tips and begin to implement them in your life.
Hit me up when you turn 100 years old and I'll celebrate with you!
Cheers,
- Ivan
